Dear Kate and Cameron.
How's it all going down there at the moment? Cold? It has been freezing up here at the moment. One weekend of hot weather the day the filly turned up then we've got our Barkly breeze back again... So the poor little thing is all fluffy at the moment. But I put some shoes on her the other day and just thought that I would report in. She was amazing!! When she first got here I went to pick up her feet and she was NOT impressed about it at all. However the second day I tried she was a hundred per cent better and she just simply hasn't looked back! Haven't had much of a chance to ride her as we've been having some staff issues but we're on the mend and hopefully I'll be riding her every afternoon again real soon. Not sure if I told you but I have ridden her, even jumped on her bareback and at first she wasn't sure but stepped out beautifully. I'll try get some better photos when this silly weather goes away but just thought I'd send the ones I have of her at the moment. Take note, I didn't do my best job on her feet, but I didn't want to make her sour on the first shoeing, so I slapped them on in an hour and she was a dream. Holds her own weight, picks her feet up for me and didn't play at all. She's better then one of my draft mares who is about three times her age!! Anyway this was meant to be just a quick note but I'd just like to say again a big thankyou!! I couldn't have asked for a smoother sailing first purchase of a horse!! And to receive such a lovely mare. Till next time take care.

Due to work commitements Cameron was unable to compete, Steve only having one ride on him befor the draft could not have done a better job! Thanks Steve (and all of your team!) ![]()

Cameron took his lovley mare into the hack show for another outing and I am proud to say he still has it! CHAMPION GENT RIDER! Sophisitication also lined up with all the hacks (no Mane and a very stockhorse looking tail!) and was called in in all events! She came home with 2nd and 3rd places for the day, not bad for a 3 year old!
Hi Kate, Cameron & Mark Our foal has arrived, he is a colt and we have called Turbine. I think he is going to be quiet a big horse when he finishes growing. When just born and still wet he was cantering circles with the mare in tow, he didn't give her any rest. I think he was ready to go! He was born 09.09.2009 Regards Ann Rumbel ![]()
Hi Cameron and Kate
This is Turbo's colt still not two untill feb, has been broken in and had around 30 rides now, going very well, very sensitive horse but not at all hot I would say a big motor!. Anyway he is a big lump of a colt should get out at around 15.1 or 2.
Shame about his very white face but it had to turn up somewhere out of a mare with so much colour.
Cheers Amber ![]()
